Sport & Recreation

The College Fitness Suite contains all the latest techno gym equipment, with qualified staff offering free consultations, diet and personal training plans.

The Fitness Suite is open:

WEDNESDAY 1.00pm – 2.30pm WEDNESDAY 4.00pm – 5.00pm THURSDAY 4.00pm – 6.00pm

A wide range of additional experiences is also available to students including amongst others, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Sign Language, Horse Riding, White Water Canoeing or Rafting, Climbing and Team Sports.

All students under the age of 25 can take part in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Bronze, Silver or Gold levels. This includes sport and recreation, community service and expeditions and you can develop existing interests or try something new.

You’ll find a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award enjoyable and exciting and you’ll feel a real sense of achievement. It can often serve as a head start in the jobs market too!

We are proud to be part of the AoC East Midlands Regional Sports Strategy: Supporting and Developing Sports in Colleges. You will find through this link profiles of students who have studied Sports and other related courses and what they have achieved.
