Digital Photography - Join us to get the best from your digital camera by showing you how to capture different types of photographs and turning them into something you would proudly hang on your wall. No auto mode allowed.
Photo Manipulation - Once you have that digital photo what do you do with it next? This course will show you how to increase the impact of the photo using tricks in Photoshop, you will learn how to get rid of unwanted elements in your pictures and how to add filters and effects from Orton to Planets.
There are no entry requirements.
Candidates must be aged 19+.
Candidates must bring their own camera.
College policy is to recruit with integrity, so if you do not have the entry requirements or you have other relevant qualifications your application will be considered independently. All applicants undertake initial diagnostic tests and a personal interview before being accepted on the course.
2 hours per week for 10 weeks
Upon completion of the Digital Photography, candidates can progress onto Photo Manipulation.

INVITED FOR AN INTERVIEW
You will be invited to attend College for a pre-course interview, which will include a guided tour of College and its grounds, assessment tests in literacy, numeracy and learning styles and an interview with a course tutor from your chosen subject area.
CONFIRMATION
Subject to a successful pre-course interview you will be offered a place on a course suitable for your abilities in the area of your choice. Sometimes these are subject to conditions such as exam grades.
