Cross College Challenge
The annual Cross College Hair and Beauty competition took place on Thursday 24th May at West Notts College with a theme of the ‘Olympics’ and taking part was North Notts, Chesterfield and West Notts College.
Each year the competition gets tougher and this year North Notts missed first place by just one point, a close call, the winner being the host college, West Notts College.
The learners who took part had to create styles using the Olympic theme, The work was of a very high standard and show cased all the hard work, dedication, skills and the hours of practising prior to the event. This event gives an opportunity for learners to show their true talent and flair, but it also gives them the experience of competitive events.
The college secured eight places in six categories.
3x 1st places
1x 2nd place
4 x 3rd places
Congratulations go to all learners that participated in the event.
North Notts will be hosting the event next year and the challenge is on to bring the trophy home.
