“North Notts College is a great College and has helped me from the age of 16 to achieve and be the person I am today”
“I feel I have come so far from being an apprentice I am now a GP Referral Health and Wellbeing Adviser and am loving my job. I deal with different clients all the time, helping them to get back to health and encourage them to take more exercise. The rewarding part of my job is seeing people make such improvements to their physical fitness and being able to have a better quality of life than before”
Pip Lee from Worksop works as a GP Referral Health and Wellbeing Adviser at the local Leisure Centre and knows full well the importance of gaining qualifications. At the age of 17 after completing her level 2 Sports and Fitness full time course she chose to continue studying and took HNC in Sports Science and a Personal Trainer qualification.
“I wasn’t sure at this time what my future aspirations were and was considering University but wasn’t convinced that was the right route for me. Since leaving school and studying at the College I have changed from a shy person into a mature student who would try any new sporting activity.”
