Tammie came to College in September 2014 and is now on the second year of her Level 3 Sport Diploma course. Tammie lives locally in Worksop and attends College three days a week.

Tammie said: “College is a much more independent environment than school and you are expected to work hard, but there’s also a lot of enjoyment in the activities we do which makes it all worthwhile.”

As part of her course she is enjoying many physical activities including climbing mountains and she really enjoys working alongside her classmates and the relationships that they have developed. They support and help each other with their many strengths and abilities.

“The tutors are just brilliant in what they do and couldn’t ask for better. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone with a passion for sport,” she said.

Tammie says that her end goal is to be a gym instructor or possibly go into teaching younger people the importance of sport.
