The Health and Social Care industry is a rapidly evolving and expanding sector, with a plethora of specialisations accessible. We cater to this wide range of specialties, giving learners the foundations and opportunity to progress along their chosen pathway. All courses allow the opportunity for candidates to become fully compliant with the practices, skills, and behaviours essential to working in the sector. We provide both classroom-based and practical teaching to give our learners the best opportunity for success.
Our Health and Social Care courses start with a Level 1 Certificate and progress all the way to a Level 5 Foundation Degree. We have a range of both 16–18 and adult courses available.
Tasks undertaken within the lessons include –
- Learning how to approach patients and service users correctly as well as demonstrating the correct code of conduct for the sector.
- You will learn a variety of human biology subjects, including Anatomy and Physiology, Infection and immunity, and Microbiology.
- You will also be assessed on your ability to adhere to various laws and demonstrate essential practise such as safeguarding.
- You will also be assessed on your hands-on skills developed in health and social settings.
Some of our assessments also require mandatory placement in the Health and Social Care sectors in a real work environment to support learning.
The Health and Social Care department has developed over the years to offer leaners a very wide range of courses to cater for all types of learners. Whichever level you choose to join us at, we can help you progress and work with us to build your confidence, knowledge, skills and behaviours and to gain the qualifications you need to work in the sector you choose to.
Our staff are highly qualified both academically and in practise and they undertake regular training to remain current with ever changing industry.

Upon successful completion of the application process an interview will be arranged with a subject sector specialist.

Direct Progression from one course level to another is dependent upon the following criteria:- Successful completion of course level undertaken- 90% minimum attendance across ALL subjects undertaken.
