The Motor Vehicle Industry is quickly evolving, with a new focus on electric, hybrid, and hydrogen fuel technologies. Although the Internal Combustion Engine will be current for some years yet, Electric and Hybrid practices are becoming increasingly necessary to implement in the curriculum.
All courses allow the opportunity for candidates to become compliant with Automotive Vehicle Systems and Maintenance Activities, which include but are not limited to the removal and replacement of components and diagnostic activities across a range of vehicle manufacturers.
Courses on offer start at Entry Level 3, learners can progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship program, provided entry criteria is met.
Tasks undertaken within the Workshops range from identification of components removal and replacement of components, also advanced diagnostic techniques and capabilities across all programs on offer.
The Motor Vehicle Department has recently undergone extensive expansion and investment to become a Sustainable Automotive Training Centre.
Our highly industry-qualified staff regularly undertake training to remain current with ever changing technologies within the motor vehicle department and enhance the delivery of sector-specific skills and knowledge.
The department offers an environment to train in where the team strives for a quality learner experience and an enjoyable atmosphere on the latest vehicle advancements in vehicle system maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
