The construction sector is ideal for those who like working outside, enjoy working practically and use their initiative to get things done.
Construction Site Supervisors manage staff and subcontractors on building sites.
Supervise workers and subcontractors, help project managers to plan work, manage
orders and deliveries of construction materials, organise staff work schedules, check work is carried out safely, complete records for site reports and attend site management meetings.**

Bricklayers build houses, repair walls and chimneys and refurbish decorative stonework. They also work on restoration projects.
Measure work areas and set out the first row of bricks, mix mortar by hand or with a mechanical mixer, use a trowel to lay bricks and mortar, shape and trim bricks using hammers, chisels and power tools and check that rows are straight using a spirit level.**
