Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre

Our Idle Valley Learning Centre is situated on the Idle Valley Nature Reserve and is a shared facility with The Wildlife Trusts Nottinghamshire.

The Idle Valley Nature Reserve is the largest nature reserve cared for by Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. The Idle Valley Reserve is a unique and inspiring landscape which provides a haven for wildlife and a stunning backdrop for days out discovering the natural world.

The Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre is a high quality eco-friendly educational facility. The learning centre is owned by North Notts College and is home to a range of our training courses with an on-site café and shop. The centre is based in the south of the reserve and offers views across Bellmoor Lake. The rural learning centre and reserve welcomes visitors 7 days a week.

Room Hire

If you are looking for somewhere to hold business meetings, team building activities or conferences the Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre is the ideal setting for time away from the busy office environment enabling you to concentrate on matters in hand. Rooms are available to be hired, there is car parking on site and refreshments are available.
