Aim high with North Notts College

31 October 2016

North Notts College is passionate about the value of Apprenticeships and vocational courses, which provide young people with the skills and experience needed for a successful career in many industries such as; hair and beauty, business studies and creative arts.

Whether it’s time for a career change, you’re about to leave school or you don’t think A-Levels are right for you, North Notts College can provide you with the skills and training you need to aim high and succeed in your chosen field.

Our recently refurbished campus is the perfect setting to study vocational courses that provide you with hands-on skills and experience. Skills are developed through projects, industry-standard equipment and briefs set by real employers. From music to sport, our courses and Apprenticeships provide you with a solid foundation on which to build your future.

Our state of the art hair and beauty training salon, INsync, and training restaurant S81 are excellent facilities which are open to the public, giving students real-life experience of working in the industry.

As well as a wide range of courses, North Notts College also offers many Apprenticeships, which give you on-the-job training and qualifications, whilst earning a wage. Apprenticeships can be a route into employment or university, and we offer a wide selection; from engineering to performing arts.

At North Notts College, we work hard to give everyone the opportunity to reach their potential and ambitions, so we also offer you the option to improve your GCSE English, maths and science grades whilst studying for your new qualification.

To discuss your options, tour our campus and meet the tutors, our next Open Events are:

  • Wednesday 23rd November 2016, 30pm – 7.00pm at North Notts College, Worksop.
  • Tuesday 7th February 2017, 4.30pm – 7.00pm at North Notts College, Worksop.
