HE Graduation Ceremony Cancelled

08 November 2019

Despite our very best efforts to enable the graduation ceremonies to go ahead today we have been left with no option but to sadly cancel. Official advice from police and the local authority is not to travel in the Rotherham area unless absolutely essential and many roads into the centre have been closed due to flooding and the train services are suspended. There are also more than 25 live flood warnings in Rotherham.

Due to safety concerns and accessibility issues we cannot proceed. We are very sorry for all our graduates and their guests, employers, guest speakers and other guests but sure you understand this is totally out of our control and we left it as late as possible to make the decision to give us the best chance of going ahead.

For anyone already on their way please drive carefully.

Campuses closed for students

All RNN college campuses will be closed to students today (Friday) due to the ongoing flooding problems in the Rotherham and Worksop areas. No classes will take place. The campuses will be open to staff who are able to travel to work safely. We apologise for any inconvenience but we are acting on the advice of police and the local authority and safety of our learners and staff is paramount.
