This course is designed for those who aspire to a career in the uniformed or protective services such as the Police, Fire and Rescue Service, Armed Forces, Border Force, or Prison Service. It develops your understanding of teamwork, discipline, leadership, and fitness while building the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in public service roles.
You will explore a range of topics relevant to the public services sector, including:
- Citizenship and diversity
- Behavior and discipline in the uniformed services
- Teamwork, leadership, and communication
- Physical perperation, health, and lifestyle
- Govenment policies and the protective services
- Responding to emergency incidents
- Outdoor and expedition skills
You will also take part in practical activities, fitness training, and simulated public services scenarios.

- 4 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English and Maths, or a Level 2 qualification in a realted subject with a Merit grade or higher.
- A genuine interest in a career in the uniformed services and a willingness to take part in phycial activity.
