Land-Based Industries

“Agriculture is the most healthful, most useful and most noble employment of man.” — George Washington

Looking after the land and the animals that live on it, is crucial to our food supply, the ecosystem and the economy. There’s a whole raft of options from farming and maintaining equipment, to conservation work and animal care. It often involves working outdoors and can  require a lot of physical strength. Being able to combine science and technology with efficient business practices allows for the development of a broad skill set, which is often transferable across a number of working areas. A career in this industry therefore, can offer something far beyond the obvious.
