Across campus next week, current students can take a break from their daily schedule to prioritise their health and wellbeing.

Each day gives you the chance to explore activities that refresh your mind and body.


Monday 19th January

Wellbeing Event (Drop-in)

Explore advice, resources, and support from providers below in the Bistro. Experts are on hand to help you feel more confident and supported in looking after your wellbeing.

Journalling (Bookable)

Reflect on your thoughts and feelings with guided prompts. Journalling encourages emotional awareness, helps reduce stress, and improves focus and clarity.

Group Reiki Experience (Bookable)

Relax and restore focus with gentle energy techniques. Reiki sessions guide you in releasing tension, making you feel grounded, calm, and refreshed.

Meditation, Breathwork, and Mindfulness (Bookable)

Learn simple breathing and meditation techniques to manage stress and improve concentration. Practising mindfulness helps you stay present while enhancing emotional control.

Tuesday 20th January

Jewellery Making (Bookable)

Design and create unique pieces while exploring your creativity. Completing projects boosts confidence and allows you to express your personal style.

DJ-ing, Mixing and Beatboxing (Bookable)

Experiment with rhythm, sound, and performance. Music sessions encourage teamwork, creativity, and confidence in a hands-on, interactive way.

Wednesday 21st January

African Drumming (Bookable)

High-energy percussion sessions delivered by Unbeatable Energy, who have been running African drumming workshops for over 20 years. Sessions promote teamwork, rhythm and positive energy.

Clubercise (Bookable)

Dance fitness combines music with movement in a fun, inclusive workout. Following the steps improves stamina, lifts mood, and keeps you active.

Thursday 22nd January

Silent Disco (Bookable)

Dance freely with wireless headphones and immerse yourself in music. Silent discos boost confidence while creating joyful and memorable experiences.

Army Code Cracker (Bookable)

Tackle logic and problem-solving challenges in groups with the British Army. Code-cracking activities improve focus, teamwork, and resilience in a fun, interactive way.

Friday 23rd January

Wellbeing Paint by Numbers (Bookable)

Follow guided art exercises to create colourful designs. Painting encourages mindfulness, calm, and focus, leaving you feeling balanced and satisfied.
