Week 2: Monday 8th – Friday 12th September

Find out about the opportunities that you have access to as part of becoming an RNN Group learner at our ‘Sign Up Fair’. This will be held in the North Notts College bistro on Tuesday 9th September between 9:30am and 3pm.
Stalls at the sign up fair will include; personal development enrichment, student union, AI reboot, Barclay’s, Kooth, ABL Health, the Army, the Navy, wellbeing, Aramark, Talkzone, Health for teens, health activities and food programme, Violence Reduction Unit, Adventures Notts, and the Momentous Football Academy.
If you miss this sign up fair, don’t worry, you can speak to one of our Personal Development team members.

Take part in surveys and discussions to let us know how you’re finding College.
On Tuesday 16th September parents and carers are invited to an information session at the College which will be running between 5pm – 7pm.

A focus on careers and skills
We will be holding a careers fair throughout the day on campus on Tuesday 30th September.

Friday 10th October

The Colour Run is an annual event held at Dearne Valley College. We celebrate the first few weeks of your time at College by allowing learners from Rotherham College, North Notts College and Dearne Valley College to come together at one site.
Walk/skip/run around a pre-cut track whilst getting covered in multiple showers of paint! will need a white t-shirt, comfy footwear, water bottle and a change of clothes (for after) to take part. Showers and changing rooms are available near the gym.
We recommend bringing a towel and hygiene items if you wish to use these afterwards to clean yourself up. We’ll see you there!

Our enrichment activities provide you with the opportunity to try new things, develop new skills, and meet new people.
See what activities are available by speaking with the Personal Development team or scanning the QR codes found on the enrichment board in reception.

Your College ID badge gives you…
Access to College facilities and your classes, the ability to borrow library books, print documents, pay for food and drinks, and you can earn kudos points to win £100 each term!
