As a student at North Notts College, the library is the ideal place for you to enrich your college experience. Here, you can expand your knowledge or learn a new skill with our helpful resources, or find a quiet spot to study in our comfy study spaces. 

When you begin your College experience, you will be given a full induction to all that the Library has to offer, including how to access and use the online resources.

If you should require more information or help throughout your time at College, the libraries’ incredibly friendly and knowledgeable members of staff are always available and eager to help. 

All students have access to the resources that you need to succeed in College, and beyond.

INSYNC Hair, Beauty and Make-up Salon

The Insync Salon offers a premium salon experience at an affordable price.

Kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment, with the calibre to match any high street salon, our hair, beauty and make-up salons are the perfect destination for some well-earned ‘me time’.

We’re proud to say that healthy, happy hair is something of a passion of ours, so your locks are in very good hands, we work with Wella and MagiColor products.

We believe that the enthusiasm and creativity of our students combined with the experience of the highly qualified tutors is what makes us a cut above the rest.

An extensive list of beauty treatments are also available so there’s no excuse not to spoil yourself with a new set of nails, indulge in a facial treatment or treat yourself to a professional makeover. We firmly recommend that you ask about our dreamy massages as well, which are enough to help anyone unwind after a hard day’s work.

Food and Drink

We have a wide variety of fresh food and drink available daily at both our Worksop Campus and the Retford Campus. Whether you’re looking for some delicious brain food or just in the mood for a scrumptious snack, our on-site bistro and cafe has got you covered with a wide selection of choices available. 

For those times our food facilities are closed, a variety of snacks as well as hot and cold drinks are available from our vending machines. 

WiFi

We have a free wireless network available for students to use while on campus on mobile devices and laptops. To access the service you will need to enter your college user-name and password. If you have any problems using the service please speak to a member of the Library.

Student Gym

College life at North Notts is about so much more than getting an education. As a student, you have access to a wide variety of different enrichment activities and programmes, including our state-of-the-art student gym. 

The gym is packed to the brim with all the gear, machines and equipment you’ll need to reach your fitness goals, and best of all, it’s completely free!

Come on down to the student gym, located near the Blyth Road entrance, by the Electrical and Plumbing workshops and recharge your batteries with our first rate equipment, including:

• Weight and exercise benches
• Free weights 
• Sled pushing track
• Kettlebells
• Exercise bikes
