HAF Programme: Summer of Play at Clumber Park
Through a new partnership with the National Trust, young people attending the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme will take part in Summer of Play 2026. Four sessions are scheduled throughout August, giving participants the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities, creative sessions and exploration at Clumber Park.
Helping make these visits more accessible, a new public bus route connecting Worksop and Clumber Park will reduce travel barriers for visitors. Officially launched by East Midlands Mayor Claire Ward on 17th July 2026, the route is funded by the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) and operated by Stagecoach East Midlands.

Holiday Activities and Food Programme
Delivered by North Notts College at The Bridge Skills Hub, HAF gives young people opportunities to develop skills and explore new experiences. Sessions run on select days during school holidays, featuring STEM projects, creative activities, sports, and a nutritious meal. Funded places are available for Nottinghamshire children receiving free school meals, while paid places are also available for families who do not meet the criteria.
Speaking on the programme, Enzo Guarani, Curriculum Manager at North Notts College, said:
“From a simple idea to a programme making a real difference, it has been an amazing opportunity to generate income and paid employment for our North Notts College learners, with students such as Katie from Sport and Owen from Creative Media supporting the provision. I am proud of everything we have accomplished so far and grateful to everyone who believed in the programme, supported us and helped it grow. We are looking forward to achieving even greater things.”
