Glowing Opportunities: Dermalogica Undergraduate Programme
Exciting times ahead for Level 3 Beauty Therapy students as they join Dermalogica’s Undergraduate Aspire Programme.
Focused on bridging study with professional practice, the programme gives students practical experience while preparing them for careers in skincare.
Alongside their main course, students receive structured training in Dermalogica’s professional products, learning about ingredients, treatments, and client consultation techniques. Training combines live-stream workshops with on-demand modules, with certificates awarded at each stage: the Aspire Skills Award, the Aspire Employability Award, and Career Next Steps.
Starting with the Aspire Skills Award, students dive into workshops led by Dermalogica Experts that introduce advanced techniques. Modules cover Face Mapping® skin analysis, ProSkin treatments, and confident consultations. Learners who complete at least four of the eight sessions earn the Aspire Skills Award certificate, marking the first milestone in the programme.

Progressing to the Aspire Employability Award, students broaden their industry knowledge. Modules explore client care, men’s skincare, virtual services, and customer-led treatments. At this stage, learners focus on adapting their skills to real-world clients, building readiness for the workplace.
Moving into Career Next Steps, students turn their attention to the future. This stage develops practical employability skills, including interview preparation, business essentials, and career pathway planning. Completion bridges the gap between training and professional practice, ensuring graduates enter the beauty industry with confidence.
Completing all three stages earns learners the Aspire Excellence Award, a recognition highly regarded in the beauty sector. Achieving this status equips students with confidence, practical skills, and a clear advantage as they start their careers.
