Introduction Skills

FOR MANY REASONS YOU MAY NOT HAVE THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU WANTED AT SCHOOL, BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU HAVE TO MISS OUT ON COMING TO COLLEGE OR FINDING YOUR DREAM CAREER.

Offered at

North Notts College

Our Introduction Skills courses are equivalent to Entry Level courses and offer you flexibility and freedom whilst introducing you to further study and the world of work.

You will undertake core units with the option to also study:

Steps to Care
Steps to Construction – Multi-Trades
Steps to Motor Vehicle
Steps to Hair and Beauty
Steps to Sport and Protective Services

You’ll get plenty of opportunities through work experience to gain those sought after skills that employers are looking for and while in College you will combine practice with theory and learn about the industries that interest you. These Entry Level courses are a great way to improve your prospects whilst keeping your options open; they allow you to develop your confidence, English and Maths skills and have the chance to progress onto the next level of study in the vocational area of your choice upon completion.
