Joel recently spoke with us about his journey at the RNN Group as an adult learner.

At 22 years old Joel is in his first year of studying joinery, here is what he had to say.

Why did you choose to study joinery?

“I joined this course so that I can develop and improve my skills and knowledge in joinery in a safe and controlled environment.”

What do you think of your current course?

This course was productive and beneficial in improving my knowledge in how to safely and skilfully make joints using wood.

“This course has been extremely helpful in improving my skills and knowledge and did provided me with all the support I needed.”

What do you think your next steps will be?

I want to move on to the Level 2 course in Joinery and eventually find a workplace that uses the skills I’ve gained through this course.

How would you say this course has helped you?

“This course has helped to improve my skills and knowledge in joinery and the safety practises in a professional environment.”

Joel said that overall “This course has been extremely helpful in improving my skills and knowledge and did provided me with all the support I needed.
