North Notts College Proudly Sponsors Worksop’s Got Talent 2021
Worksop’s Got Talent is back for its fifth and biggest year yet! North Notts College is proud to be returning as sponsors of the event, which showcases local talent and artistry whilst raising money and awareness for Retina UK.
On the 26th of November, from 7.00pm-10.30pm, ticket-holders can expect an exhilarating evening filled with show-stopping performances, drama and TALENT, as the show takes over the North Notts Arena, located in central Worksop.
Since 2016, Worksop’s Got Talent has raised £40,000 for Retina UK, a charitable organisation that supports people affected by inherited progressive sight loss. The show has sold out four times, with 700+ attendees each year, collecting four awards along the way.
Known for attracting superstar judges, Worksop’s Got Talent is back with more dazzling names this year, as S Club 7 superstar Jo O’Meara will step into the North Notts Arena as one of the 3 star judges and 2 celebrity hosts that will be announced soon.
The two-time BRIT Award winner, who, together with the multi-platinum selling pop group S Club 7, sold over 17 million records, spoke about her great excitement ahead of Worksop’s Got Talent.
She said: “I am so excited to be a judge on this amazing show and it’s all for such a great cause too! I look forward to seeing some amazing talent! I will see you all very soon…”
The excitement continues, as the second celebrity judge will be unveiled in the coming weeks! Previous years celebrity appearances have included Love Island star Chris Taylor and Ex On The Beach star Sam Reece.
North Notts College students, from our Media Make-up courses, will be showing off their cosmetic capabilities on the night, glamming up the contestants and hosts before the show. The talents of our students from our Hair and Beauty courses will also be centre stage, as they showcase their award-winning skills to spruce up the contestants as they bid for glory.
